The University of Akron Research Foundation presents the I-Pitch Competition on August 28, 2025.
The event is being hosted at the Bounce Innovation Hub at 526 South Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44311. The event begins at 5pm and is expected to last 3 hours.
I-Pitch pits 6 local startups who have recently completed in the UARF I-Corps program to pitch for cash prizes awarded to the most promising contestants. One prize is awarded by the judges. One prize is awarded by the audience. Show up on Thursday, August 28, to cast your vote.
Sanctuary Software will be on hand to support partner startup and recent I-Corps program graduate – VendorBot. VendorBot is a sales and support enablement tool for medical devices that is built on Sanctuary Software’s Apothek AI cloud platform. Apothek enables VendorBot to delivery generative AI support and connectivity for surgical cases and support incidents by incorporating device documentation, digital media, proprietary information, and best practices in a secure context.
Everyone is welcome to show their support for Northeast Ohio innovation. Registration is free and tickets can be requested online through EventBrite.com.
